OM" is the name of God, the vibration of the Supreme. When taken letter by letter A-U-M represents the divine energy (Shakti) united in its three elementary aspects: Bhrahma Shakti (creation), Vishnu Shakti (preservation) and Shiva Shakti (liberation, and/or destruction).
In Sanskrit, the meaning of Om is avati, or rakłati. Rakłati means 'One who protects, sustains'. So that which sustains everything is Om.
The vibration of "OM" symbolizes the manifestation of God in form . It is "Adi Anadi"- without beginning or the end and embraces all that exists
Katha Upanishad says- Whosoever knows this syllable OM obtains all that he desires. This is the best support; this is the highest support. Whosoever knows this support is adored in the world of Brahma."
Om encompasses all potentialities and possibilities; it is everything that was, is, or can yet be. It is omnipotent and likewise remains undefined.
It represents the divine in each of us, as well as our interconnectivity. It reminds us that we have the ability to move past our physical and mental states of consciousness and connect with the divine both in ourselves and others
The syllable OM, which is the imperishable Brahman, is the universe. Whatsoever has existed, whatsoever exists, and whatsoever shall exist hereafter, is OM. And whatsoever transcends past, present, and future, that also is OM." It is ETERNAL.
"KAIROS"- in Greek means Gods appointed time! It is the right or supreme (opportune) moment, time and/or place, the right or appropriate time to say or do the right or appropriate thing.
In ancient Greek - two words for time- chronos ( regular time) and Kairos ( specific time in between regular time in which something special and unique happens. ) What the special something is depends on who is using the word. A watershed moment that affects every aspect, forever more, of the person's life, and is measured with the nature of time that is defined by quality rather than quantity. It's the experience of time that occurs between the clicking seconds and moving hands; time stand stills as life unfolds and takes eternal significance. When change abruptly comes to us unawares, the time of Kairos transcends the defined time of man.
In rhetoric Kairos - "a passing instant when an opening appears which must be driven through with force if success is to be achieved.
Kairos is the time of God's activity, the time where we sense God may be trying to get our attention, where we anticipate He may be up to something and it would be wise for us to pay attention in this suspended time and place.
It also means" someone who manages well the circumstances which they encounter day by day, and who possess a judgment which is accurate in meeting occasions as they arise and rarely misses the expedient course of action".
In the Bible it means "the appointed time in the purpose of God", the time when God acts (e.g. Mark 1.15, the Kairos is fulfilled)"
Kairos also means "Eternity" that has no beginning or the end!
Almost every living soul has moments of Kairos . All our growth happens in Kairos moments. They are instances where a person is so dramatically overwhelmed with life events that time stands still and is no longer relevant. When the things of common, normal life cease, and a person's focus is directed on one defining, specific, notable and special moment that has deep significance to him, as life itself is put on hold, and the drama of Kairos unfolds.
Wasted Kairos moments are wasted opportunities to grow.
